Our Pastor

Thank you for stopping by our church’s website to learn a little more about us. I am glad you are interested in learning more about our congregation.

I began serving St. Paul Hametown in July of 2012 after serving as a Pastor in Mt. Joy for four years. I attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg and graduated with a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Theology and Public Life.

In addition to serving as Pastor here at Hametown, I also serve as a Stewardship Coach and am working on completing my Certificate in Executive Religious Fundraising.

I love learning and firmly believe in God’s love for each one of us. A great mentor of mine once gave me a note that says, “1. God loves you. 2. God loves you more than you can ever know. 3. There is nothing you can ever do about it.” It is a note that hangs in my office and serves as a constant reminder of the ways in which God loves each and every one of us.

In my office, you will always find many toys (thanks to my three kids), a Jesus action figure plus many other religious toys, gummi bears, and lots of books. I try to be in the office as much as possible, but am always available by email or by phone. If you find yourself needing to have time to come and meet, I encourage you to give me a call so that we may find a time to meet. I hope to see you at Hametown soon and that we can learn more about one another and grow as disciples of Christ.

Shalom (God’s peace),

Pastor Katie
